Welcome! Meet the Team

Meet Hillary, Owner of Beyond Bodywork.

I am a graduate of the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork.  Prior to my massage career, I was a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 10 years. During my time as a PTA I worked with all types of clients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and everyone in-between. I worked in an outpatient clinic for several years working mostly with athletic patients and breast cancer survivors. I feel that my time working with these clients well prepared me for bodywork. Having suffered from my fair share of injuries, I know what its like to not be able to do the activities you love. My goal is get you out of pain and moving well so you can do what makes you, YOU! Working closely with a network of like-minded practitioners, I am able to stay current on the latest research and techniques. If I can't help you, I'm sure I know someone who can!

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I have a special interest in working with those with TMJD, chronic pain, and athletic injuries but do enjoy all types of bodywork.

I have been active most of my life and enjoy working out and being outside with my family. Outside of my bodywork practice, I am a wife, mom of two kiddos & multiple pets, and overall lover of fitness.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you soon!

Meet Lanni!

Certified in Bodywork, Pregnancy Massage and Deep Tissue/Swedish.

“Hello! I am thrilled to be with the Beyond Bodywork team! I entered the massage therapy and bodywork world after ten years spent serving children and families in the public education system as a school counselor. Seeing firsthand the beauties, challenges, stressors and joys of life, I am excited to promote relaxation, quietude, and healing in my clients through clinical massage.

Growing up in an athletic, military family, I enjoyed participating in a variety of sports throughout adolescence and am grateful for the opportunity to have played women’s lacrosse at the collegiate level. Experiencing my own setbacks from athletic injuries, as well as working with other collegiate athletes as a Student Athletic Trainer during undergrad, I recognize how important preparation and recovery are to athletes. I have a special interest in blending therapeutic massage techniques with deep tissue bodywork and stretching.

I am also passionate about nurturing new & expecting mothers throughout their unique prenatal/postpartum journey, as well as anyone who seeks to attain and maintain relief from pain, optimal overall health, and the highest quality of life.

A fun fact about me, I am also a CWLOA Collegiate Select Women's Lacrosse Official!”
